I liked it at first....but see i was part of this huge golden sun community....then when the game came out they all went 'GOLDEN SUN IS THE BEST RPG ON THE GBA EVER', some of the idiots even went so far as to say it's better then ff7 and the like...so from then on I've had a perpetual disliking for Golden Sun, and the fact that it's a ****ty game. But I wasn't expecting anything great from a first gen game, the battle system is cheap, it's turn-based with a crappy perspective. The magic is like some pokemon/ff7 rip, the characters are 2d [literally] and the story is stale, its like a follow sephiroth story but 10x worse. No...the game was a BIG let down, now Magical Vacation, that looks great though the story seems iffy to me. BoF2A is the best rpg for the gameboy right now, end of discussion. I wonder how Shining Soul will be, a real-time shining game....hm....i just wish those bastards at the big N start kissing some major sqaure but....square is the king of rpgs...especially 2d classics like on the snes....SD3...CT...need I go on?

hey sorri the vagrant, but i have to disagree w/ u on diz 1... i totally respect yer opinion and understand the frustration u have of some !diots talkin' trash, but those dummies r obviously juz some 5 year old kidz who dunno better. so, dun get mad and hate a game juz for them. well, happens that i, 2, am a big golden sun butt kisser, but hey, it does have good graphics and some amazing sound tracks and u gotta give them creditz. and the battle system is definitedly visually stunnin' and fun to c the variety of elements in the gameplay... shoot. i dun wanna start an argument. i mean i can so c y u say gs $ucks, itz storyline totally blows... huh, newayz, plz dun put a game down that bad. i learned my lesson awhile back. others would get hurt... me, for being so big a gs fan.

no offense taken...everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but in retrospect when we look back in 5 years at gs....[with all the new supper spiffy rpgs were gonna get] were gonna be like ya...that game blew...same **** with mgs2...it's being hailed as the best game for ps2 ever or most visiualy stunning [i agree it is game of the year but that's it] but again in a few years when some way awesome games come out for ps2...people are gonna be like mgs2 huh...is that the name of a brand of toasters?
