Epsxe resolution/Filtering?
Hiya! Not exactly a new user of Epsxe but a returning user....but anyway >.> On to the question!
I play mostly rpgs on it and use teh defaut resoluion 1024 x 786 And everythign is so...Pixelated, I mean i can barely make ou details of the sprites cause everything is so...Pixelated! (Enlarged, zoomed in ect) I was wondering what settings are for optimal gaming visualy? Currently using P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.17 Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

peops is not the best choice here then. just set the pete ogl2 plugin on best and play with the filtering a little, should be much more pleasing than peops. some 2d games like to have filtering set on 0 (no filtering => more readable texts, no artefacts on sprites) while 3d games would benefit more from the 6th filtering method. you can switch the filtering strength during gameplay, to see wich you prefer (the filtering switch selection made from inside games is not saved)
2xSai should be cool too, provided a resolution of 1024x768 or higher.
