Internal Res. Y Problem

I can use I.R. Z Very High, but not Y, cuz' any games run perfectly smooth, even without slowdowns, but I've only get to see a full non-displayable gray screen, brother of our now-well-known black screen of death, or just a full black screen
Maybe it's time to move to another emulator, EpsxE's gettin' more & more gay with meh

Is there a question in this thread or are you just complaining?

What exactly is the problem? The first thing is: Video Card. Which flavour? ATi or nVidia?

Cause that's pretty important. Also, another reason to know this is that, in the event you want to play with the Internal Y res at 3, you need at least a GeForce 6 generation card (i.e. GeForce 6800) or an ATi x1000 generation card (i.e. ATi Radeon x1800 etc). If you have a card below any of these, then the Internal Y resolution is limited to 2.

But, it'd be helpful if you provided a little more info.

Sorry... Look, i've used an X800 XT before, and I remember that the internal Y res could not go to setting 3.....the card cannot calculate that.

So, you've set Internal X = 2 and Internal Y = 2 (both 'Very High'). Now, what other settings have you used with the plugin? Any shader effects being used? What are the full settings exactly?

And the issue that I had, quite a while back (when I even posted on Pete's board) was a driver problem. Not long after that, the proper drivers came out. Since that point, it was working fine.
