Hi I hove a problem with epsxe I configure all and when I start the game I have a black screen can someone help me ? my pc spec i AMD 3800 Dual core 1 gb ram ge force 8800 gts I'm using epsxe 1.6

Check out this thread, especially this part:

All I get is a black screen.

• First, make sure you've got everything together. You need a BIOS, plugins (graphics, sound, and CD and pad if you need them), and of course the game you want to play.
• Look at the console (the DOS window). Are there any errors? What are the errors? Based on that, make adjustments to the plugins you use (i.e. if it has a CD reading error, try a different plugin, different drive, or make an ISO).
• If you have a copy protected PAL game, you might need to use a PPF patch. Check NGEmu's PPF page for our downloadable database of PPF patches. Alternatively, create an ISO image with subchannel data.
• Does anything show up when you run the BIOS? (File-->Run BIOS in ePSXe). If so, then you know it's a problem with the game or its compatibility, and not with the emulator's general configuration.
• Does the game work on a real PSX? If not, then that's your problem; your game just doesn't work.

I do have the bios and all the plugins the game is Crash team racing

ok now all is ok but when I play game i got the error


any ideas ?

In Sound config, Check "enable SPU IRQ hack".

Please help me asap! When I try to play FFVII on ePSXe i get no sound. I only get sound in the CG scenes. Can you help me out? I want sound all the time. Please post back to this message or email me at: mr_bubbles_rulz@hotmail.com

Simply make a new thread. It will be simplier for you and for us helping you. And no need to give your email.(why will someone take the time to email you if he can simply answer here?)

Init ISO code.....So you are playing from an iso, right?
Have you tried to play from the actual CD?

Noticed that from your screenshot, you are using ePSXe 1.4.0.Try the latest version:the 1.6.0.You will find it here.If it doesn't work, give a try to pSX.

I'm using 1.6 :P not 1.4 but I solve the problem :P it was the CD scrached :P
