Cannot save to mem cards. Please help.
Yesterday I played Lunar 2 for around 2 and a half hours and I periodically saved to what I thought was the mem cards of epsxe. When I went to play the next day, however, the game told me that I had no save date for Lunar 2. I only had one save state but it was way back at the beginning of the game so I'm pretty much screwed. I tried using epsxe version 1.52 as well but it doesn't save either.
What should actually be in my memcards folder? BTW, should I try to switch to PSXeven or something to see if it works on there? I don't want to though because the controller I have works great for epsxe Last edited by eclipsedv1; July 11th, 2007 at 14:32. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Ok let's get the easy troubleshooting step out of the way before we work through this:
Are you shutting down the emulator properly? This is to say that when you save, you press the escape key and close the GUI. Don't close the game window, don't close the DOS window. If you're already doing that, we can move on to other stuff. Check to see if your memcards folder is Read-Only and unset that property if it is, for example. |
