Configuring the 'Start' button?!!
Hi all.
I'm trying to configure the "Start" button as the "Return" key but whenever I try to press "Return" in the "Start" button's input box, it configures "R3" as "Return" instead of "Start" and also resets all my other control configurations. ![]() Any ideas please? Cheers, Pete. |

That happens because when you hit Return key the "default" button is pressed so configuration resets,
as F3 is the last key to reset the Return get's mapped to it. But there is a solution, it's a bit tricky but it should work if you do everything right.

Thanks.
Yep - you're switched on!
Just before I got this reply, I used a Commodore 64 emulator to see what the "Enter/Return" key's keycode was - you're right, it's 28. Thanks a bunch for highlighting which one that is in the ePSXe registry as well, I didn't have a clue about the button sequence order. Cheers, Pete.
