Mem card/Save states

I've recently had my computer reformatted, and i got fairly far in FFVIII.

I sent myself the memory card file through hotmail, hoping i can continue my file.. I havnt tried it yet though. Just wondering if it will work, or if i could do the same with a save state file?

Of course, why wouldn't it work?

For future reference, memory cards are more reliable than save states, given a save state's habit of becoming corrupted. You should try out both. I would see no reason why it wouldn't work unless Hotmail messed with the files any.

Yes it is, with a DexDrive, or PlayStation MemoryCard reader which you can build yourself.
