Question ePSXe Development-final or not ?

I have a question to the Development of ePSX. It is still developing or is it the last version, which is perfect and final? The last version was on August 5 2003, so I am asking, wheter its the end.

Thx for answering.

(Sorry for my english)

afaik they lost the source code in a server crash. That was the end of the road for epsxe.

They lost the sorce code of the prog ePSXe in a server crash? Sounds strange. Isn't the source code normaly saved on a local offline store.I couldn't understand it.

If it would be really true, we will never see a new ePSXe?

Like I see in that other thread, nobody knows anything about the development status.

A other question: Is ePSXe currently the best PSX emulator, or which is it?

depends what your looking for, I would say ePSXe is the best emulator for being able to add filters, increase resolution and such. I would also say that pSX is the best emulator as for as compatibility and true to playstation feel.

I doubt so.
Given the amount of time they have to manage so much stuff like me :P, got exams and ****ty stuff to handle.
Anyway, ePSXe is in such a playable state now.

An update would be nice and I been waiting since then. (:
