"i have questions" another stupid newb thread
hello, i am your average newb, i came into this forum for information that i could find on my own if i spent a few hours browsing...now that we have that over with, i have a question.
can you copy files directly from the ps1 games and play them without converting them? also need to know if this emulator is compatable with all ps1 games. thanx. |

Well you don't have to copy files or "convert" them, just make an ISO image of the PSX game.

If you happen to make your games in other formats (nrg, iso, ccd, bin, etc...) I would also get daemon tools. I find it to be pretty helpful. Just mount the image and run the image like you would a cd. For example if you use daemon tools and load an unsupported image (unsupported via epsxe) into virtual drive F:, goto [Config -> Cdrom -> Configure] and set it to drive F:\ then click [File -> RunCdrom], that format will now load up just fine.
