Is there a way to use FF7 PC version save file and vice versa?
This is more of a curiosity question. I don't recall where (maybe it was on the epsxe emulator itself, or the [pec] plugin, I don't know) I think somehow, you were able to convert a FF7 PC version save file and be able to use it in the PS1 version of FF7 using epsxe. Does anyone know if this is possible, and does it work vice versa?

Can you show me how this work? I have tried it on PSXMemtool but there are extensions that you have to save the game save as, and the PS1 game save on the memory card does not have an extension. Also even if you manage to save it as a single image game save (.mcs or .psx), and you edit the first couple of bytes using a hex editor, it still would not load on the ps1. The game will not recognize the game save.
Can you show me your way? I cant seem to get it to work. |
