Having a little trouble
A couple people have already helped me out a great deal(like Hushypushy and Shendo). I got everything set up and configured. everything was running really fast, but I just turned on the FPS limit, and that fixed it.
The only thing that didn't configure actually, was the Sound plugin. The menu said it didn't configure, but I"m getting sound though(if that's what a sound card does). So the only really problem I"m having is getting me analog sticks to work. I have all the buttons working on my controller(which I"m using a Logitech Dula Action), and the D Pad. But the analogs wouldn't configure for some reason. Any one have any advice on that? I looked through a setup process on how to do it, but it just wouldn't work. I also wanted to ask if you had any suggestions of what plugins would work the best for me. I used the suggestions from this page. I'm running Windows XP. But I"m not quite sure how I find out my specs. Anyone know how I can find out? I know my specs aren't anything spectacular though. Thank for any and all help Last edited by h8uthemost; November 4th, 2006 at 02:39. |

The analogs wouldnt configure? Have you installed drivers for the pad? Also make sure any Logitech software is off because it sucks.
Press windows key + pause/break. That will tell you your CPU type, speed, and amount of RAM. Then go to the desktop, right click, go to properties, and go to the Settings tab--it will say some monitor on some graphics card. What game(s) are you trying to play? And reread my username again. Slowly

Ooops, sorry man. I was just reading too fast. I edited my post.<_<
And my analogs are configured now. I don't now why they wouldn't when I was trying earlier. And I was trying with Breath of Fire II by the way. And here's my specs: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2700+ 2.16 GHz , 256 MB of Ram Radeon 700 Series(this is what I got from right-licking on my desktop) That sucks, right? So what plugins do you think would work the best for me? Because I was play Castlevania:SotN, and the game was chugging a little. So is that because of the video card? It's okay, most people misspell my username anyway. It's just funny.
Anyway, for SOTN I'd suggest using Peops software GPU. Go to ATi's site and update your drivers, if you haven't already. You can use OpenGL2 on that card, actually. |
