Input problems???
Hi, when I'm trying to play FF Origins, FF5, or FF6 on my laptop, the input doesn't seem to be working correctly. The game will start up, play through the intro, and then just sit there, not seeming to take any input. I just got these games.. all my old games work fine, including the rest of the FF series.
When I tried to just run the BIOS, though, the same thing seems to be happening, where it won't accept any input. I don't know what the deal is here, considering that the input works fine for all the rest of my games on this computer. I don't know if it matters, but I ripped all my old games on my old computer, using nero, and these were ripped using alcohol... all these new games work fine on my gf's laptop. Any ideas? --NS |

So you ripped them rom your old comp, after already ripping them using alcohol...? that doesn't make make sense unless you burned them again.
Perhaps these are PAL versions or if your using PAL, they are NTCS? It seems like your downloaded these, as you said "They where ripped using alcohol" as in you downloaded them and they where an alcohol image...maybe I'm just reading it wrong Anyways...I've heard of pressing F4 or F5 if the input locks up? as much as I can understand... Also, maybe try a new iso or image? |
