Games won't start anymore

When i load up my games, all that come up is a black screen. Yes, I have ready the FAQ and have done and checked all the problems.
In fact I have played all these games before but I stopped playing for a while.

Someone please help me out. Thanks in advanced!

you have to tell us:
1. your plugins
2. your settings
3. are you using iso/cdrom?
4. are you pointing it towards the right cd?
5. have you upgraded your drivers?
6. what is your hardware? (cpu + ram + gfx card)

1. I am using Pete's OpenGL driver 1.76

2. I put the video default settings to "fast"

3. I am using ISO and I have tried CD but that only works on PSX.

4. Sorry I don't get this question

5. I don't know about this question either

6. CPU- Pentium 4
RAM- 512 MB
Graphics Card- Geforce 4 MX 440

go there and download the latest driver, then return and tell the tale.
