Netplay question.

Is it possible to play a one player game using netplay? (One player would spectate while the other would play.)

ePSXe (Enhanced PSX Emulator) v1.6.0
Netplay plugin - PS4Net
Game - Silent Hill
It works but it goes out of sync three minutes into playing and we can't get any of the other net plugins to work either.. solutions?

Okay, we got it to work using PS4Net but it goes out of sync three minutes into playing regardless of what game we're using. Solution?

Get a T1 line.
I suggest not playing over the net. Its highly unstable and desyncs easily.
I haven heard successful cases on running Playstation games over the net.

i tried playing THPS2 on my wireless LAN a while back (500kbps or so up and down) and it desynced after just a few minutes. i can imagine playing over the internet with a much slower connection would be nearly impossible.

Disabling the sound allows us to play in sync but... Silent Hill isn't very fun without sound. I remember seeing something about mounting the cd using Daemon tools to remedy the sound sync problem.. suggestions? Oh, and I have a cable connection.

Here is a tip to lenghten your netplay, write the iso using ultra iso and use the option in epsxe to run the game from an iso, triple vsynk buffering and better plugins may work, remember that its not only your connection that counts but your friend´s too
