Help making wireless PS2 controller work
Hey, I'm pretty new to using controllers on my computer, so unfortunately, I'm a bit lost as to how to get these two things I got to work correctly at all.
I picked up a PS2 to USB connector, and the one that I got is the one that is shown in this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/DUAL-Playstation...QQcmdZViewItem Also, I picked up a Logitech Action Cordless Controller as shown here: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...0047457&catid= I connected the PS2 to USB connector and installed the drivers with the CD that came with it, and connected the controllor's reciever to it, but now I'm not sure what to do. A game controller's window pops up in Windows but it is empty, and I don't know which controllor to add in the big long list, or even if I have to. I want to be able to get this controllor working for stuff like PC games, ePSXe, ZSNES, etc. I've used the search to check for other threads, but none of them seem to be concerning my issue, as most have a problem with the gamepad running in ePSXe and not just in general. Also, if someone could also provide an easy way to set up the controllor for ePSXe (like things like what to set for the rumble pack, etc), or maybe provide a link to where I can get that information, that would be great! Thanks! |

The windows should auto detect your device, anyway go to the control panel
and select "game controlers", there should be displayed 2 dual usb vibration joystick, if you don't see anything reinstall your drivers and try again (you can even try without the drivers because this thing is plug and play). If you see the devices, select first (or second if you have pluged your controler into port 2) and calibrate it. After you have done with that open the ePSXe go to pad configuration and map the buttons.

Ok, I managed to find the two ports for the PS2 to USB connector in the Game Controllers window, however, I am having trouble getting the wireless controllor to make the connection so that I can do the calibration. I tried this controller on a real PS2, and it worked perfectly, but I can't seem to establish the connection with this device.
Anyone have any experience with wireless controllors, or maybe even this one in particular, who can provide some insight please? |
