The sound won't go away

I was playing FF7 (PAL) on epsxe, but every time I close the emulator, the sound from the game keeps on playing. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine, he was playing Mega Man 8, and when he closed it the music continued too, but it also crashed his computer shortly afterwards. This is really annoying me, and any help as to how to fix this problem will be greatly appreciated.

That's because you dont quit correctly. Press ESC and close via the menu.
