Very Odd Problem Has Just Occured

Hi

Ive been using ePSXe 1.6 for ages now (only ps emulator ive tried) and its been working like the origional ps.

But ive had to format my HD and ive re-installed all my emulators and for some reason ePSXe opens and runs games spot on, but when i close ePSXe it somehow keeps it running even though the app has been closed.

I have noticed one thing, before i formatted my HD when i opened ePSXe 1 window would appear (deafualt) then when i run a cd or iso it used to open a window like DOS, and the game window, now all i get after running a game is the game screen, no DOS window.

Before if i wanted to end a game all i had to do was simply click on the DOS window and it would shut ePSXe down, now because i only have the game window i have to close that then press Ctrl Alt Del to open task manager then goto Processes and ePSXe is still running so i have to end its process.

Does any one know why this is happening, as it is bit of a pain to have to start doing this.

Ps
any more ePSXe comming in the near future, the last one according to your site was 2003, i know theyres not much more to be done as its perfect as it is but wouldnt it be nice to have a cheat menu for your games (like PJ64).

Im having to use EmuCheat to make my own codes but even that has its flaws, when you make codes for a game you save them, but then you cant add more to it using the search engine unless you manually edit the cht file which is a pain, just thought if you could add codes actually into ePSXe, then all id have to do is add my codes when ive made them.

If this option is considered id love to contribute cheat codes for you

i believe having that dos window is a setting. Everything probably got reset after yoru hardrive reset. Try playing with the settings to get the window to appear again, i forget which setting it was.

Ill check but before all i did was install ePSXe and configure the bios, my xbox pad and the graphic settings to make it run correctly, why its default fps was 200 ive no idea, when it should be 60fps (runs spot on on my pc at 60fps)

yeah, don't close the DOS window, please. do yourself a favor and close the emulator the correct way, which is to press escape, then close the GUI after that.

but anyway, to get it back, go to Run--->Enable Logs
