Game fansubs eh?

Much harder to make than video fansubs because the text - and sometimes the speech audio - in games, especially console games, is often encrypted.

You might try a Google search with the name of your game and "fansub", but you're unlikely to find anything.

you can PPF patch a game and change the dialog, but very very few games have patches and i dont think any games have been fully done.

and such things like cutscenes, etc, wouldnt work at all.

most likely, you're out of luck. either learn japanese, or play without understanding

You mean if dialogues in cutscenes are changed?

Cause i could just edit the in-game dialogue!

1)No time for ??Japanese,it could take me years!
2)There's no fun at that! You don't know what to do,and how the story evolves!

The Game i want to play is Echo Night 2 BTW.

P.S.What are PPF Patches?

PPF patches are, well, game patches. they get past copy protection, or they can hack at parts in the game.

trust me, Echo Night 2 has never been translated, i've never even heard of that game.

so since you dont want to learn japanese, you're basically out of luck. i hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's the way it is.

I have seen a lot of PSX games, translated in Russian by pirates. How did they do that? May be they use some spicial hardware?
