Ati Mobility Problems

im usein epsxe 1.6 and 1.5.2 with pete drivers on nice at 800x600 and it stutter every 10 seconds..it would playin perfect the stuter then work, i have tried changing round setting to no prevale. The laptop can easily cut the mustard itz a 3200+ 64 AMD 9700 kobility 512 mb Ram Cheer if u can help

What game are you playing, and what are your plugin specs?

Close background apps and try again. Also, disable any power saving feature on the laptop. Playing from cd or iso?
