Question Linux: Using a dualshock in analog mode?

Is there a way to get a dualshock pad working in analog mode using epsxe? I basically have everything else about the emulator working how I like it, this is the only thing I can't get working I get the impression it works in Windows but not Linux, am I right in saying that?

you're right - it doesn't. It's the only flaw i can see in epsxe ATM. Supposedly PCSX supports analog pads but PCSX for linux hardly runs anything.. sad

i take that back - i just enabled interpretd cpu and everything runs flawlessly try PCSX, the analog sticks work (oh and make sure you use AmmoQ's padJoy as controller 1 and 2 - i set my controller 1 to pad and 2 to keyboard. btw putting in the analog values is a bit tricky, but you'll figure it out )
