ISO Problem

I'm new to playstation emulation so please excuse my ignorance.
I am using ePSXe v1.6.0, I can get it to run fine with the game disk in the drive, but when I try to get it to run an ISO I just get a black screen. I am using WINISO to create the image.
The video plugin and settings are:
Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.14
Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team

Resolution/Color:
- 640x480 Window mode
Stretch mode: 0
Dither mode: 2

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Misc:
- Scanlines: disabled
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

I have tried the default cdrom plugin and the Mooby2 cd plugin with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry! My system specs are
Athlon XP 2200+
ATI IGP 320M with 64 megs of Ram
256 mb ram
Any other info you need just let me know.

Thanks

I was about to say try mooby2, but it seems you've already shown intelligence there. Like a_en mentioned, Alcohol120% is great, as is ISO producer. And if you get a working ISO, you can then compress it with mooby's to save space.

What game are you trying to run, by the way?

I'm trying to run Final Fantasy Tactics.
I'm trying to create an image with Alcohol120% but I'm only getting the option to create an mds or ccd file?
Is that correct? If so which format works better?
Thanks

to use with the internal iso loader, ccd. Alternatively, create the mdf, load it to alcohol's virtual drive, and run it as a cd with a common cd plugin, like xeven's, sapu's or peops.

Great! I finally got it to work. I created the ccd image using Alcohol120% and then used the load iso from ePSXe.

Thanks for all the help!
