Using saitek controller with frontend
I have a Saiteck P880 (great controller) and I'm trying to use it in conjunction with petes frontend. Since petes wont allow me to configure the internal gamepad I downloaded Dr hels plugin. I configure some buttons then launch epsxe but it still only uses the internal plugin. I can use my controller fine with the epsxe interal pad config, but every time I launch through petes frontend the settings get reset. Is there any way to save these settings? how do I properly set-up a plugin in the frontend? thanks in advance.

ePSXe doesn't use external pad plugins, unless you play under linux. Anyways, epsxecutor lets you launch the internal plugin's configurator, have you tried that?

EDIT: I read this in the readme "Also the internal epsxe plugins (spu/cdr/pad) will be listed, but no configuration windows are available for the internal plugins." But I didn't realize the Options screen allowed me to configure my controls. Problem solved. Last edited by Blast_man; June 30th, 2004 at 10:24. |
