help please..

ok. when im gona put in the gamepad controls i get a problem. when i press any button to select *all* buttons already placed in disipears and when i am gona select it again and for example press "H" H appears but dissipears again when i let it go. so i cant edit any gamepad controls. what is this problem?

First, recalibrate your pad, then restart ePSXe. Make sure all the axes are centred.
I had a similar problem with my pad a while back and all it was was that I had the analogue mode off and so the Z and ZR axes were going haywire.

Rizzler, if i understand correctly, if you push any button, the config app recognizes it, but when you release it, simply disappers, right? The same happens to me. Just keep the button pressed until you select another box, then again and again, and when you have the last configured, click 'ok', and then release the button
