Cool first time ever i started a emulator and it didnt work

hello guyz this the very first time im posting on this site , i normally play snes,n64 and mame games, but the playstation side i have never ever touched, that is until today .ok this is wat i did:

{1} i downloaded epsxe1.6 from www.aldostools.com and installed it

{2} then i downloaded the 4mb (90+ plugins) patch from the site and extracted it into the epsxe plugins folder

{3}next i downloaded the epsxe launcher from www.aldostolls.com and installed it in the epsxe1.6 directory

{4}next i downloaded the scph1001.bin file and installed it in the bios folder in the epsxe 1.6 main folder

{5} then i launched epsxe 1.6 and ran the bios which worked fine

{6} so now that everything was set i clicked file->run cd-rom and the following error keeps on pooping up :

"Sapu's CD-ROM Plugin

(x) cant intilize read mode

OK"

plz help me as i want to play my cd-roms!!!!!!!

I personally prefer P.E.Op.S CDR plugin since it works with Windows XP even without an ASPI layer or anything installed if configured properly. If you do use Windows 2000 or XP and are using P.E.Op.S, try the W2k/XP reading mode.

Downloading BIOS is bad . Here at Ngemu "we compile our BIOS from our own Playstations." Just to let you know for the future.

I personally dumped my bios - it's a point of pride to me that I was able to do it - not just search google for a copied bios. :guitar:
