Sounds from games after gameplay
After I play most of my Playstation games in ePSXe, I will (after I close the game) the music of the last level I played as well as random game sound FX. After that, it will play random level musics and sound effects, though I have closed ePSXe properly (either escaping to the Windows desktop and then closing the ePSXe window, or hitting Alt-F4 during gameplay). What's going on to cause this? Would this be a memory leak on part of ePSXe that allows the game to partially run in the background when ePSXe isn't resident in memory? This is with 1.6 as well, which appears to be the newest version to date, for like a year now.

1. Check if ePSXe process is still runnig after destroing GUI - just hit 3 buttons salut (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and check if ePSXe process is there.
2. If game is using CDR-Audio music (e.g. Wipeout2097) there is posibility that CDA music will be still playing after closing ePSXe - just open your CDR/DVD drive or unmount ISO image. |

It does still run after I killed it, and it plays random sounds also. How do I keep it from doing that?
It also continues the same thing after I kill it with the three figner salute. Memory leak? btw: I like your sig. You put some work into that thing didn't you? |
