Crash After Loading Game

Im having a problem with epsxe where when I load an iso or a cd the program crashes without the game loading. Ive tried differn't plugins and games but nothing has worked. Anyone know what might be wrong?

try reinstalling directx and see what happens. if you get an error just reply what the error was
