Analog doesn't work

I got the Saitek P880 Dual analog Joypad running XP. Everything works wonderfully, and ePSXe recognize all the buttons and analog sticks. However, none of the games I try to run lets me use the analog stick (they do nothing). Anyone else have this problem? It is kinda annoying since I can't play Metal Gear Solid sneaking around, it is either running or not.

press F5 during gameplay until the analog works.
