Pausing the game

Is there any way to pause the emulation and be able to take snaps using the F8 key? I need it to rip some anims, but even if I slow down the game to about 10fps it's still too fast to do that.

You can use PEOPS Soft Plugin. There is special option, that allows you to capture video to .avi file. Then u can use Ulead GIF Animator.

You can try using aldo's capture for snaps.
and for riping mdecs, use PSXMC.
They are easy to use and can be found in
www.aldostools.com

well i think the idea was that he wanted to slow it down to take precise snaps, otherwise you can just press F8
