ePSXe problem

While I'm playing games some of the time my ePSXe pauses for a second or two then goes back to play normally. I was wondering why it does this and if there is a way to make it stop doing it.

Re: ePSXe problem

Well if you are running off a CD it could be because the CDRom is reading the disk. It happens to PC games and emulated games both.

Try making an ISO.

Re: ePSXe problem

Your computer seems fast enough. You using frameskip in your plugins? If not try that. See if it works.

It could also be other applications or too many system resources in your system tray or just random slowdowns. It happens in soem games. Like in GT2 the whole game can run at 60+ fps for me but sometimes it will just vreeze for a couple seconds. Just something that happens I guess. :/
