Newbie needing some help

I have been trying to get Winning Eleven 5 to work on my PC
but all i get is a black screen
and i get this

* Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.2.
* Memory handlers init.
* ePSXe: PSX BIOS loaded [C:\Documents and Settings\dr.jamal\Desktop\PSX\exps\b
ios\SCPH1001.BIN].
* Init cdrom ... ok
* Cdrom open... ok
* NTSC cdrom detected.
* Doing init gpu[0]...
* Gpu open[0]...
* Direct input init ok.

and the emulator stays black
so could anyone help me out.

I dunno this game...
but you should try to know if it's copy-protected or not... if yes, I can help

How could i know if it is copy-protected or not ?

Maybe i found out what the problem was it was a PS2 cd. I will try a Ps cd when i have one available. Wish me luck. And thank you for your concern and for answering my q's.

the Winning Eleven series is the japanese version of Pro Evolution Soccer series, formerly known as International Superstar Soccer.
