DexDrive (.gme) to ePSXe (.mcr) Conversion
I have tried several tools (Memory Card Manager, PSXMemTool) to convert an FF7 DexDrive GME save game to ePSXe MCR format with no luck. When I go to load the save all of the slots are just empty. Is this because the DexDrive GME file was made from an NTSC FF7, and I am using a PAL version? If so, is there anyway to remedy this? |

Well yes, in general saves from different regions don't work. PSXMemtool might be able to change the region for you, so that's probably your best chance.

Look at the left menu -> PSX Memory card tools -> Memory Converter All in One! I usually use this tools to convert the GME saves available on the net to MCR saves for use in Bleem or PSXeven. |

When I open the card in FF7, it's just blank. Even data that was previously on that card dosen't show up. Am I doing something wrong or leaving out something? Last edited by hollow; September 13th, 2003 at 16:42.. |

Re: DexDrive (.gme) to ePSXe (.mcr) Conversion
Try using PSXMemtool to convert it to a PC save, then convert it back to a PSX savewith teh appropriate region.

Re: DexDrive (.gme) to ePSXe (.mcr) Conversion
you shouldnt need to change it just go into your memory card settings in epsxe and select the save you want. i have 1.6.0 and it recognizes gme. but the ntsc version is a little different than the pal version so i dont know if the save will work
