How can i tell if bios is ok ?

hello all,

I am simply asking, how can i tell if my ps2 bios file is corrupt and if it's not then why won't the prog run ?

I have tried loads of different plugins for the new ePSXe but when i choose run bios the program just locks up with no display...

this is a capture from the prog:

* Running ePSXe emulator version 1.6.0.
* Memory handlers init.
* ePSXe: PSX BIOS loaded [x:\ps2emu\bios\scph10000.bin].
* Doing init gpu[0]...
* Gpu open[0]...
* Direct input init ok.
* Doing spu init...
* Spu open...

This says to me the bios file is cool... It has the correct CRC and is the right size when unpacked so I am sure it's fine...

Sys specs

P4 2.8ghz
GF4 TI4600
512mb ram
Asus P4PE mobo

Any help much appreciated... I have followed all the setup guides and looked here for answers but nothing jumps out...

your running it in ePSXe........-_-
its a PS2 Bios your trying to run?
try PCSX2, its the only PS2 emu with nsx2 at the moment
ePSXe plays only PSOne games

ePSXe runs PS1 Bios such as SCHP 1001, 7502, 5500 (JAP) and so on,...just as Chrono Archange mentioned,PS2 bios such as SCHP 1000 runs only on PS2 emulators.
