force feedback problem

first,sorry about my bad english
i have a usb-ps adapter,it support force feedback.
in redhat linux 7.3 ,i added two lines in /etc/modules.conf,then the pad works fine.
#this is that two lines
alias char-major-13 input
above input joydev
#hmm...that's all
i want to know how to do can make the adapter support force feedback under linux,anybody helps me?

Force feedback is usually supported by DirectX which is Windows only.

There'r 2 types or rumbling:
- the Force Feedback one
- the I-Force one

ATM, Force Feedback is supported only on Windows, while there's a driver for I-Force devices. This driver is still WIP, but u can try it to find out if your PSX adapter is I-Force compatible. Here the webpage for the I-Force Linux driver > http://user.it.uu.se/~johannd/projects/ff/
