Which is the best choice for Pet's OpenGL "Hi-Res textures"?

Hello,
Only a curiosity and not and not a serious problem. In the Pet's OpenGL Driver 1.73 there is an option called "Hi-Res textures:", I have read the plugin's doc where is written that best choice are "1: 2xSal (much vram needed)" and "2: Stretched (filtering needed)". I have tried them but I don't see difference. Which is the best choice? Thank you

Depends on the game really. Just choose the one that looks better to you, or use the one that causes less problems.

It's more apparant in 2D games than 3D ones. If you're using the second option (Stretched) make sure you have Texture Filtering set to 2 to get the best out of it.
