rumble doesn't work for me in ff8 but it does work in ff9 (and many other games) and i've never had any crashes in any game when turning on rumble. sometimes it doesn't work, but it never crashes, so eumel's problem seems to be something different.

I heard of some games freezing when enabled rumble, so IMHO the real problem is still rumble. Please try P©SX w/ Harakiri pad plugin, even if IIRC FF9 has some problems w/ P©SX (please search in the forum for a solution, IIRC @ruantec found a solution).

Thx, bye

Thumbs up

I had some problem with rumble under epsxe.
I found that some motherboard using nforce2 (mine is asus a7n8x-e deluxe) have issues with usb, epsxe crash when rumble is activated

now I use a pci usb controler and everything is fine, so for those one who can't get rumble to work, try it
