Re: Speed Problems

Go into the video plugin and where it says fps limitation (something like that) check the box for that and set it to either 60 for ntsc games or 50 for pal games.

Re: Speed Problems

heheh. thanks n_w95482 and F-3582
i have just got myself an eSPXe and am learning (slowly) how to use the bugger.

my girlfriend and i thought that the whizz kids of today must be really really good to be able to play Jeremy McGrath Supercross and we must be totally hopeless. when loading up "soulblade", we started to think that maybe i had some settings a bit screwy as the intro played so fsat.

"settings a bit screwy" alright. try playing games at a frame rate of 220fps

duh......

Re: Speed Problems

I too have fps problems, but on a different game. The game "Legend of Legaia" ("The Legaia") I have to set the fps to only 28 at max for the game to run at a normal speed. Yet I still have trouble because sometimes it gets below 20. Is there a way to make a range of fps? I need it to be 20 at the min and 28 fps at the max. Thanks.

Re: Speed Problems

You can't select a minimum fps limit, but you can try enabling frameskip. It will make the game look choppy when it tries to slow down but the sound and game will run at normal speed.

Re: Speed Problems

have you got pc fps calculation enabled? If so, disable it. If not, try enabling .

Re: Speed Problems

Well considering that he has it set to a max of 28 fps and it runs at normal speed then I think that he has the pc fps calculation turned on. Some comps work better with it on (like mine), but most are better with it off.
