feed up with epsxe plz help

ok this is what happends. only the voice is choppy about every 2 sec. i nared the widow size nothing changed to 16 bit nothing. i got all the good video plug ins opengl and petes and the sound i got null and eternal spu plug 1.14, and sound audio 1.15. i even reformated my c drive to freee up space there is currently like 4 prog on my hole comp counting epsxe. but the game play is crisp. also the game pad i cant highlight the lett to input my controller. it jsut keep writing left mouse curser?
is there anything in my video card i should out it on to work harder or somthing. should i dl a controller plug in.

specs are 2.6 512 cache pent 4 proc dell
512 ram
nvidea g force 4 64 mtx card
sound blast live sound card. im playing it on my tv with the video out.
