Video Settings Help please!
Hi all, first here are my comp specs:
P4 2.4GHZ ATI Radeon 9100 (128 vRAM) 512MB SDRAM Using WinXP Home Edition Samsung SyncMaster 955DF Monitor running at 800X600 Anything else isn't really relevant Here is what I want: I intend on ripping sprites from FFTactics, Tactics Ogre and Vandal Hearts and I just can't seem to find the true size of a game window. I'm going to rip it in true size and try to play in that size too (MMX looks like crap with smoothed sprites). Here's what I've tried as screen size (and failed to find a good size, btw) 400X300 320X240 I've tried them with smoothed sprites, without smoothed sprites, with filtering, without it... I've tried a LOT of combinations on those two screen settings and I still can't find anything that works to get clean, unblurred, precise and exact sprites of anything in the game (I rip the sprites for friends) Can someone help me? |

Re: Video Settings Help please!
Try PEOPs in 1:1 mode with it on system memory mode in 320x240.
Interesting fact: Lewpy's plugin has a mode which displays hte actual PSX mode....

Re: Video Settings Help please!
Thanks Lod Kane!
Actually, the 1:1 mode from peops is the best I've seen since Lewpy's only works with voodoo cards (I have ATI) The only thing I hate is the huge size some widescreen angles can get when viewing anime cutscenes or CG cutscenes. I also noticed that the artwork in such games as FF Chronicles, FF Anthology and FF Origins has huge proportions when you're viewing the full image. However, it's the best way to get a full pixel-by-pixel screenshot of a game's artwork goodies. |
