first, sorry for my very very bad english
![]() I will want to know if ePSXe is portable on SEGA Dreamcast. It's possible? Even if ePSXe is written in ASM, and Dreamcast has a SH4 processor, this operation can be possible??? thanx for your answer. |

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
afaik there is a PCSX for DC, but it isnt as good as the PC version or even as good as bleemcast; sorry.
I'd also be interested in a good DC psx emu, but I don't know of anything that's near ePSXe's quality atm. |

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
Most games with PCSX for DC go at 2-15 fps.... not really worth it, I've been waiting for a new version for a while now... even if I have a PSX.

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
You wont get better enhacements that the ones done with bleemcast. And you will need a emu for every game in order to watch them like mgs in the dreamcast. A generic epsxe itsn't viable at the moment since the coding must be rewritten completely in order to make it work.

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
keep in mind that the ps2 is backward compatible with original psx game's and it doesnt emulate it, But hey! if the bleemcast can emulate psx game's on the dreamcast console, then theres no doubt the xbox can pull it off

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
ummm... try the guides at www.xbox-scene.com
it's a lot more complicated than that, and you will need to mod your xbox to play ANYTHING other than original games. |

Re: Is ePSXe portable on SEGA Dreamcast ?
If yuo want to play psx games as well as you can on a pc then wait for the next next gen consoles ..
Like PS3, XBX2, and nintendo --- By then Im sure someone with the knowledge will be urging to make a psx emulator or port on to one of those consoles ... I think that x box and so on would be a little slow right now.If the PS2 didnt have the backward compatibility and you wanted to emulate the Psx on it it would also be slow. Sounds weird but its true.
