more problems
I have a problem when going into battles in FF7 (when the screen blurs/spins when battles engages it takes about 30 seconds to finish the spin (does it very slowly). I also have about a 50/50 chance to freeze everytime I hit F1 to save. I have tried every setting combo I can think if. Everytime it freezes I lose my save file (if I load it all the text is gone).

Re: more problems
Well, screen smoothing is slow, if you are using your cards antialiasing, i'll turn it off. In fact, i think you'll get nicer graphics as well as better speed that way. Why do you have the fps limit so high? It should be 50 for a pal game, or 60 for an ntsc one. If you have the special fix 'pc fps calculation', disable it. You can try with hardware framebuffer, set fb texture to 3, access too. Disable 'fake sub. blending/FSAA', with latest cats is not needed anymore. I would activate 'Mixed software FB access' if trying the hardware framebuffer.
Are you playing from CD or from an iso? It may be a badly done iso, so remake it from the original cd to be sure. If you are playing from CD instead, use another cd plugin, sometimes some cd plugins have problems reading some cd's.

Re: more problems
Use a regular memcard save. Don't only rely on Savestates.

1. You revived an old thread with something that wasn't even related to the original post.
2. As others have said, piracy is not tolerated here. Having said that, look around and see if you can buy a used copy in decent condition. It should be relatively cheap now. -Closed
