I had no problems using the emulator until now.
The CD is ripped to my hard drive so I use Daemon Tools 2.6 to mount the CD. The CD mounts okay, but when I run ePSXe, I get these error messages. * Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.2. * Memory handlers init. * ePSXe: PSX BIOS loaded [bios\scph1001.bin]. * Init Core W9x cdrom ... ok * Cdrom gettrackinfo error. * NTSC cdrom detected. * Warning: cdrom read mode unknown. * Doing init gpu[0]... * Gpu open[0]... * Direct input init ok. * Doing spu init... * Spu open... * Error reading CD: 0,2,16 * Error reading CD: 0,2,0 I am using ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.52 plugin. Does anybody know how to solve this error? |

Try a different CD plugin (I suggest CDRXeven), or make sure that Force ASPI is installed

I know you are trying to help me Lord Kane and I appreciate that, but the Force ASPI did more damage to my system than good.
After installing Force ASPI my InCD software stopped working. And CDRXeven did even run. I had to manually delete the Force ASPI registries and replace back the old ASPI files to get my system right again. |

have you tried the aspi drivers from adaptec? i remember reading somewhere a few days ago that they just updated them. you could try searching for them on google.
edit:here is a list of different aspi downloads.

First, what game are you trying to run??
Second, I think you might use the wrong mode to burn the CD. Just a guess though> What program did u use to burn your CD?
