sound lag
hey
while playin ff9 i've noticed my sound was like off by like seconds... whenever i move up or down to choose the option, the sound seems to come late.... here's the gfx specs.... I think that the sound is not in sync with the video because the video is faster than it should be (faster than the original PSX, while the sound is running st correct speed). To make the video run at the adequate speed, enable the "FPS limitation" inside Pete's OpenGL plugin (I can see from the info that you posted that it's disabled). This will make the game run at the original frame rate.
edit: Oh, I didn't notice his sound settings. Kane and Phoenix are right. Change the sound buffer. But still, the FPS Limitation is useful to keep the game at correct speed.

- Buffer: 500 > Set this to 8 or 11 (If you really need SPU async, use 50)
- audio out: SPUasync > change to Thread

Make sure that "Country" option is set 2 Autodetect (or your game ver) >> when it`s set 2 NTSC and U are palying PAL game it can cause chopy sound or sound lag (same thing when U select PAL & play NTSC) in some cases (I`ve seen few eg. mdecs in DragonValor).
