About savestates....

Why is it that ePSXe sometimes doesn't allow me to make a savestate from a game, while allowing other games to make them? For example, I can make savestates from the Love Hina game, while it doesn't allow me to when I play Tokimemo (of all games...why this one? )

Anyone have any ideas?

Its possible that some of the cds or some of the games may not be compatible with savestates.
If you are using f1 to make savestates than try pressing esc and making savestate from run menu.
Also check savestate directory if savestate is actually being made or not.
