Exclamation Configuration help!!!

Okay here goes,
I've tried numerous times to get a PSXemulator to work so I can play my old games. (my ps1 died) I just got a new pc for school and im hoping to get EpsXe to run some of my old titles.
Here's my computers specs-

Intel P4 2.0ghz
Nvidia GeForce 2
WinXp
512megs RAM
80 gig hard drive
Dvd Player
12x CD-RW Burner
Im at a loss as to think of anything else in this box that "might" be helpful.

So anyway I cant get EpsXe to work. If anyone out here is kind hearted enough to tell me which plugs to get for my system, or at least a site where I could go that would tell me I'd appreciate it. (And if I do get it to work I'll probably burn some of my games into ISOs, so ill list what I got to anyone who helps me get my **** running.)

I actually palyed most of my games with PeopsSoft. They are east to use and doesn't need lots of configurations and graphic requirements..

Well campi, I don't agree wif u. Some games (eg FF IX) when used with Pete's OpenGL has some square and not so good looking font letters. But with PeopsSoft, the font texture is smooth and The graphic is almost perfect.

I used petes (what ever the latest one was) when I was laying ffIX
and the fonts and textures where great I could not have been more pleased. I used the D3D not the Open. In fact I believe I use the d3d plung in like you all use the Peoples plug in

You what?
I use the OpenGL plugin a lot of the time, but I use the PEOPs one in games with mostly 2d (Tokimeki Memorial). The fonts are no smoother in the soft plugin than they are in the H/W GPU's if 2xSai filtering is on.

anyway, let's stop this arguement and go back to the topic of this board. Different people prefer differetn GPUs, so it's up to the user to try out.
