Metal gear solid sounds probs

Just got metal gear solid.
It looks great and run smooth but there is a problem with the sound. It jumps around alot and is realy annoying.Im using the eternal spu plugin with the metal gear solid fix enabled. I read i should enable the spuasync option but this made it worse.
Plz help me

Keep using Eternal's spu and make sure to use the smooth type of the spuasync. Also make sure that the spu irq hack is unchecked in the spu plugin selection dialog box.
