problems with saving games

I decided to play legend of dragoon on the epsxe and for some reason or another when I am using a game shark and then I save the game then I restart the game aftarwards it will say that when I try to get axx to the game thru just the regular console it will not even reconize the saved game as being valid. Also when I attempt to switch disc from one to another the epsxe will sit there and just spin and I have to restart the game and try it from the main menu.

any help would be appreciated!!!

that might have been a result of using the game shark cheats...

Try something completely different: Play the game WITHOUT cheating. Believe me, it is much more fun!

I can't imagine playing a game without cheating. I don't even remember what game I completed without cheating (except super mario 3 on nes) I like beating games with cheats I think it's more fun but it's just me all those other guys will say "cheating sucks" "beat the game without cheating is more fun" etc.

But don't the games lose their challenge by cheating? E.g. I always finish a game first without any walkthrough etc. and afterwards I use a guide to find every side quest / secret etc.

try using the basic memory format of ePSXe which is .mcr instead of .gme
