Games not functioning with gamepad

i have a gamepad, well a PSX to PC USB Converter, and it works great, i have played 6hours of FF9 and BOF4 also works cool. but some games like Chrono Trigger Remake, and Suikoden II for some reason when i press start or anything i get no reaction or anything from it.

anyone know if its a incompatibility or whats the deal? i have downloaded other Gamepad plugins but i dont know how to use them with epsxe newest version.

so if thats the case let me know the best one and how to enable it.

i also use ePSXecutor.

Epsxe doesn't support pad plugins.. It uses it's own internal gamepad system.. Try pressing f4 or f5 then f4 when you run into problems like that..

not F4, use F5 becuase that will switch the gamepad to digital mode. Some games require this because they dont support analog mode. Mostly older games.
