Im running FF8, and no movies show up. They were showing up before, and then quit,.. They werent even playing when mdec was on. I read something about mdec timing for ff8 and ff9 in the readme, but im lost
What should I set mdec timing to in the registry? Is there a setting for mdec timing in the GUI? Sometimes, if I dont resume from a previous state and start the game over, the movies run fine. When I resume from a state just before Zell's intro movie, the state loads, but then when the movie plays, the screen is black, or in some cases gray. The game plays fine after the fmv is over. Im pretty sure it has to do with the mdec timing setting Thanks for any help! Last edited by teccrc; July 8th, 2001 at 04:31. |

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\epsxe\config
check this in the regestry..... mdec enabled is a "0" for me and mdec timing is a "1"........ all my mdecs work fine..... You could also delete the epsxe registry and just let epsxe make a new one......
