disabling mdecs in 1.4

I've been running v1.2 with mdecs disabled. I want/need to do the same in v1.4, but can't find where to hit the switch. Any help would be appreciated.

go to ePSXe Cutor, create new configuration and go to option

You can use command line option:
open Dos-prompt in epsxe directory and
tape: EPSXE -nomdec
then press ENTER.
Tape EPSXE -help for more options or read
"epsxe_en.txt" wich comes with epsxe
