Can I play PSX games?

Is it possible (and by possible I mean with good perormance) to play PSX Games on the following computer?

Intel Celeron 400mhz
Voodoo3 3000
96MB SDRAM
Windows 98 SE

Also, can anyone recommend drivers for me to use with the Voodoo. I have looked and there are so many and I'm lost. I am using the drivers that came with it when I bought it eons ago.

I use ePSXe and have tried tons of plugins. I was hopeing Lewpy's would work but the text boxes are all wrong (FF9) FF9 is the only game i'm really planning on playing.

Certainly is possible, as of good performance, I can't be sure about it. You got to try.

Is there any special games fix in Lewpy's plugin? I'll go and check it out.

Ummm... relax take a deep BREATH and then Post your settings. Click the COPY TO CLIPBOARD button on the configuration window for the settings. That will help. Next after you do that people might be able to acertain better what's going on. The latest drivers for the Voodoo card WILL HELP a lot, they are dated January of 2001 those were the last release from 3DFX period. You can get them from voodoo extreme and they'll say they are the 3dfx drivers.. don't get a collection of hacked drivers just yet. All you need to do is be sure to get the 1.03 drivers (I believe that's the version) as those are the last.

The included drivers for the Voodoo's were buggy.. hence why the newer drivers.

even though he post his settings, epsxe emulation for him would still be slow he may get an average of 40fps tops. vgs is the best emu for his system

of course you can. The one I'm using to play emu on my other PC:

Intel Celeron 466mhz
64MB SDRAM (now at 128)
Windows 98 SE
and without any 3D card

Follow Cyberman's advice and install the Version 1.07.00 WHQL drivers.
In my plugin, make sure TEXTURE WINDOWS are set to ENABLED.
If it still has a problem, then use the COPY INFO button and paste the output in to a reply here.
